Systemic Constellations

Some people may be familiar with systemic work from depth psychology as an advanced method that deals with the unconscious, psychological conflicts of the individual within the system. Each and every one of us is always part of a system: in the family, with friends, at work, in our leisure time when pursuing our hobbies. In each of these structures, the members are connected to each other like a mobile; if one “figure” moves, the dynamics of the system have an impact on everyone involved. Tensions, disagreements or fateful connections between a single person can affect everyone.  Applicable in work with humans and animals.

Constellation Therapy for Animals

If an animal moves into our household, it also becomes part of the existing system, the structure has to reorganize itself, the caregiver is chosen and existing animals also have to come to terms with the change.

A lot of potential for conflict is unleashed, sometimes the feathered, scaled and  four-legged friends react with withdrawal, sadness or real aggression. Our animals have a highly sensitive perception of their environment and react accordingly to incisive experiences, which can be of various kinds.

We notice their behavioral abnormalities and canSystemic animal constellationsnt at best attribute them to a previous change.  Bur also health issues occur due to behavioral problems or just because of genetic issues, infections, breeding or accidents. Most of the time, however, we see symptoms that seem to appear suddenly and are faced with the great challenge of finding the cause, which unfortunately does not make sense to us. This is where a systemic animal constellation helps to shed light on the subconscious mental processes of our animals.

When is this Method useful?

  • When the roots of health issues can`t be found
  • When to decide which natural remedie or medication is the right one
  • When integrating an animal into an existing structure, flock,  in herd and pack conflicts (jealousy, aggression, etc.)
  • Decisions concerning the animal (relinquishment, participation in riding, etc.
  • Family tensions because of the animal  if reference persons are not clearly assigned
  • When an animal stands out as an outsider when animals mirror their humans
  •  When supporting the grieving process of animals and people  When deceased animals still take up a lot of space in the system  Sudden changes in behavior
  •  Extreme fears

After some constellations it became clear that the cause of the “animal” problem lay in human behavior and that no improvement would occur without changing it. For these cases, I offer individual coaching session in order to do justice to my holistic approach. Experience has shown that it only takes a few sessions to find the optimal solution.

Constellation Therapy for Humans

Systemic Constellation work is a method of systemic therapy that makes it possible to depict and understand complex connections and relationships between people, groups or even inner parts of a person. The people or objects in question are symbolically set up and positioned in relation to each other in the room. This can be done in both individual and group settings. By observing the constellation and working with the symbolic representatives, insights can be gained into the dynamics and entanglements in the system. Constellation work can help to release blockages and open up new perspectives. It is used in various areas such as psychotherapy, coaching, organizational development and spiritual work.

  • Clarification of relationship dynamics:
By working with proxies, hidden patterns and entanglements in interpersonal relationships can be uncovered and clarified.
  • Improving self-awareness:
  • Constellation work allows you to look at yourself from a new perspective and gain deeper insights into your own behavioral patterns and beliefs.
  • Spiritual development:
  • Constellation work can also contribute to spiritual development by enabling a deeper connection to a greater whole and to transpersonal aspects of the self.
  • Promoting change and transformation: By opening up to new insights and realizations, old patterns and limitations can be released and new opportunities for growth and change can be created.
